"It was January holidays and Jye and I were visiting Byron for a summer break! We found a old motel and noticed it was actually undergoing construction after a change in management. We poked our head in and discovered the most obscenely beautiful 'lover's Barn, a Queenslander style cottage and a House that had all been renovated and refurbished with all the latest interior trimmings. We knew straight away that this would be the perfect place for not only us, but our bridal party and interstate guests to stay."

"White Lane Studio were simply magnificent. Both for photos and videos, that truly capture the essence of the day and the special intimate moments! Very candid!
They had also scoped out an old railway line, that was no longer in use! It was a little cold and slippery out there and a bit of a way down... a couple of hairy moments trying to capture the perfect railway shot!

Who did your wedding Planning/Styling?
​I had quite a lot of ides already in mind, but enlisted the help of Frank & Joy to assist with pulling it altogether. Roxy our coordinator, was amazing!

Rings were from Melbourne Diamond Importers and my earrings were from Net A Porter and my bracelet was a gift from my old colleagues from Lucy Folk. Both earrings and bracelet were a light gold with pearls.

Our caterers wife made it, Whit Chocolate and Raspberry... delicious!! We didn't want to do the traditional cake thing, but we weren't having an official dessert, so it was perfect for that.
Our caterers were 100 Mile Table, Sarah and Jeremy. What magnificent people they are. Their food is even better. We had beautiful roaming canapés and an antipasto table and then shared entree's and mains - all with local produce.
